				About Christ Episcopal Church We are the only Episcopal Church in Giles County. We are small but our hearts are large. We encourage you to worship every Sunday with us and share our faith to the glory of God. Our Mission We affirm our belief in God as our Creator, Redeemer and Sustainer. As members of God's family we commit ourselves to: Be open to the spirit that God might be revealed to others through us and our experiences; and God might be revealed to us through others and their experiences. Apply ourselves, our talents, and our possessions wholeheartedly to God's service. Freely accept others with unselfish concern Work and pray for peace, harmony, justice and the necessities of life for all people especially the oppressed. Upcoming events: The Annual Church Picnic will be held August 17th at Glen Alton. We will celebrate Morning Prayer and have the picnic following the service. The Vestry will provide Chicken and paper goods. Please bring a side dish. The ECW Yard Sale will be August 23rd. Start cleaning out your closets and basements.
